Last fall, I was honored with the request to shoot an engagement session and an elopement for this sweet couple. They were game for all of my somewhat crazy ideas and loved that I shoot exclusively film. We had fun bundling up against the wind, scrambling over rocks, and just enjoying each other’s company over the span of a couple of hours. These ladies were some of the sweetest and most genuine souls I’ve met and their love for each other warmed my heart all the way through!

For their engagement session, we ventured down to Beluga Point and they let me just go wild with light leaks, doubles, and slow motion blur. I was in heaven, and these are some of my favorite images that I’ve ever taken for a client! I hope that one day, they’ll look back on these images and still feel the love emanating from them.

A couple of weeks later, they had their elopement at a small cabin not too far from where we had shot their engagement photos. Let me just say, that Amaia blew the decor out of the water and I can only dream of being able to style interior flat lays like she does! And then the sweetest thing of all was Larissa picking the most beautiful bouquet of wildflowers from around the cabin. Shockingly, there were lupines blooming, even though their season was supposed to have ended at least a month prior. What a beautiful sign that was!

It was a beautiful day for a beautiful couple and I wish them all the love their hearts can hold!
